  • Arteta ‘prepares’ for match against Chelsea
        • Desperate Arsenal star tells his agent to work on his summer departure. Champions League giants are very interested
  • Arsenal enter race to sign Kellen Fisher

Arsenal are now joining Manchester United and a number of other Premier League clubs in the race for Championship talent.

Arteta ‘prepares’ for match against Chelsea

After a brief gaffe, Arsenal reaffirmed their title ambitions against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend and will face Chelsea in hopes of making a fresh statement.

But Mikel Arteta is well aware of the task ahead, even though Chelsea are unbeaten against Arsenal in their last eight Premier League games.

The Spaniard told reporters: “It doesn’t matter what we did two weeks ago or two years ago, because every game and situation is different. The players may change, the team atmosphere may be in a different state, what’s at stake may be different. And we’re ready.

“If we finish like this, we just want to be No. 1. That’s it. That’s the goal. Always try to get better and always try to exceed the team’s potential.”

But Arsenal’s success isn’t just on the pitch. Away from the games, the Gunners are also making plans for the summer.

Could be a blow to Mikel Arteta…

Recent rumors suggest that the club are focusing on bringing in a new full-back amid concerns over Ben White’s future. The former Brighton player has fallen down the pecking order in north London and could consider leaving.

There is a good chance that he will be replaced by Michael Kayode. Arsenal are interested in the Brentford right-back but could decide to sign a Championship replacement, according to reports.

Arsenal enter race to sign Kellen Fisher

Arsenal have joined the race to sign Kellen Fisher after completing a scouting mission for the Norwich City defender, TeamTalk reports.

The 21-year-old right-back has made remarkable progress, especially since the arrival of Philippe Clement. As a result, he is now able to choose his own Premier League club.

Manchester United, who are racing alongside Arsenal, have also been on the radar of Fisher this season, sparking contention across the Premier League. Given that the Red Devils are also on track to qualify for the Champions League, there is a good chance that Fisher will have to make a difficult decision.

However, Arsenal will be hoping that their chances of winning the Premier League crown will have an impact on the 21-year-old, as they are also about to begin a fantastic summer transfer window.

The player himself, who is only just beginning to carve out the right-back position at Norwich, will have to consider game time wherever he goes.
