SINGAPORE (AP) – Australian Hannah Green won the HSBC Women’s World Championship for the second time on Sunday with a one-stroke victory over fast-finishing American Auston Kim.

Green, the 2019 Women’s PGA Championship winner, finished with a 69 after nearly opening the door for Kim with a shaky back nine with three birdies and three bogeys.

Green bogeyed the final at the par-72 Sentosa Golf Club, posting a four-round total of 14-under 274 and winning here in 2024, followed by a title in Singapore.

Kim had her best round of the day with six birdies and one eagle for a 67, but she suffered a bogey on the second hole, especially the par-3 15th hole, ending her record at 13-under 275, one stroke behind the sluggish greens.

Minjee Lee, who entered Sunday’s final round as co-leader with Green, posted a disappointing even final round of 72 with three birdies and three bogeys, and tied for third place with Angel Yin (71) and Pauline Roussin Bouchard (68) (France) at 11 under par.

Top-ranked Gino Titikul, who won last week’s tournament in his native Thailand, shot a 73 on Sunday to finish tied for 31st at 2-under 287. She was one stroke behind defending champion Lydia Ko, who shot a 72.

The 72-player no-cut tournament is the second of three in the LPGA’s inaugural Asian Games, with the final one taking place next week on China’s Hainan Island.
