2026 Cognizant Classic payouts: Here’s how much each player earned

The Cognizant Classic is once again at a crossroads in the new PGA Tour schedule.

The front of the calendar’s final week in February will not only feature a flurry of signature events, but will also host two of the tour’s most popular events: the WM Phoenix Open and the Farmers Insurance Open.

On the flip side, another signature event will follow at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the PGA Tour’s flagship event, The Players Championship.

There may not be a $20 million purse like these mega-events, but it’s enough to change the lives of whoever wins.

While many stars choose to take a week off, Shane Lowry took the opportunity to perform at an event while sleeping at home. He was seeking his first individual victory on the PGA Tour in seven years in the event he loves so dearly.

Lowry has also dominated PGA National the past five seasons, despite not winning. However, Cognizant fell short once again and fell prey to the famous Bear Trap with consecutive double bogeys.

Nico Echavarria used persistence to win his third PGA Tour title.

Below is a breakdown of how much everyone on the field made in South Florida this week. The tournament has a prize pool of $9.6 million, with the winner receiving $1.78 million.
