Chelsea are aiming to sign Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Aslani in the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old has been doing very well for the German club and has attracted interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa. According to a report from Fussball Daten, Chelsea have a “priority file” for the 23-year-old striker and are looking to seal a deal. A clause in the contract puts the transfer fee at around 30 million euros, with reports claiming that a move for such a sum would be the “bargain of the century”.

Chelsea could use Fisnik Aslani

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can complete the transfer in the summer. They need another quality striker, especially given Liam Delap’s performances. This summer signing has been a huge disappointment for Chelsea and they need an upgrade from him.

Asllani has proven his quality in German football and has the physical and technical attributes to succeed in the Premier League. He could form a quality partnership with Chelsea’s Joao Pedro. The Blues also have the financial power to make a deal. Asllani has contributed to 15 goals this season.

Spurs also keen on signing Aslani

Meanwhile, Tottenham are also interested in the player, but the situation remains difficult. They are fighting for survival in the Premier League. Asllani may prefer to join a competitive team that can fight for trophies on a regular basis. Chelsea are aiming to qualify for the Champions League and would be an attractive transfer destination for the player.

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea make a formal offer at the end of the season.

Aston Villa are also monitoring his situation and are well placed to qualify for the Champions League. They also have the financial resources to complete the deal and are looking for a quality long-term replacement for Ollie Watkins. It will be interesting to see where the 23-year-old attacker ends up.
