Manchester United focus on Ibrahim Sangare transfer

This was revealed by a person close to the situation. catch off side United scouts are said to be “impressed” by his superiority in duels and composure under pressure. Sangaré is 1.91 meters tall and his profile makes him a direct candidate to replace Casemiro. Bayern Munich and Liverpool have tracked him in the past, while Aston Villa and West Ham are also keeping an eye on his situation.

Aston Villa and West Ham need to strengthen their defence, and a quality defensive midfielder could have a decisive impact. The Hammers have previously attempted to sign Sangare.

Forest signed him for around 35 million euros in 2023 and are willing to open negotiations for a higher price. Negotiations are expected to focus on a range of 45 million to 50 million euros. The club needs at least one big sale this summer, and Sangare is one of their most valuable assets, along with Elliott Anderson and Murillo. His contract runs until 2028, giving Forrest leverage in negotiations.

Sangare could change Manchester United

Sangare has now fully adapted to the pace of the Premier League and is a wall in front of the defence. United may see him as a cost-effective solution and prefer him over more expensive options such as Adam Wharton or Carlos Baleva.

Forest supporters are reluctant to see him leave, but many accept that a big-money move could be a necessary step to secure the club’s future budget.

Manchester United have the financial wherewithal to complete this move, and it remains to be seen whether they will step up their pursuit by making a formal offer in the summer. Sangare could be a transformative addition for them.
