John Terry compares Max Dauman to Lionel Messi
Terry had seen Dauman shine during his time at Arsenal’s academy and was full of praise for him.
he said:
“Max Dauman, 16 years old by the way, is a really great player.
“I watched him play against Chelsea about a year ago and apart from Messi, I’ve never seen a player slip through the cracks like this guy. It’s a big comparison, but this guy is a decent talent and will play a big role in Arsenal’s future and England’s future.”
@johnterry26 Max Dauman is a great player and I’m happy to score his first goal tonight. It was disappointing to concede tonight and it was disappointing to lose at home to Newcastle. #Premier League #Arsenal #Chelsea #ChelseaFC #Soccer

Max Dauman sets Premier League record
Dauman’s historic moment came in stoppage time against the Toffees. With the score at 1-0 and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford stranded on the field aiming for a corner kick, the 16-year-old collected the ball deep in his own half.
Showing the composure that Terry hinted at, Dauman weaved past two Everton players and sprinted across half the pitch, rolling the ball into an empty net.
At 16 years and 73 days old, Dowman broke the 20-year record held by former Everton striker James Vaughan.

Mikel Arteta hailed the youngster as a “game changer” after the match, pointing out that his natural talent and fearlessness make him a unique asset for the league leaders.
