Pio Esposito’s agent has confirmed that Arsenal are interested in signing the Inter Milan sensation, but immediately ended talks of a move to north London.
The 20-year-old striker has been one of Serie A’s most talked-about talents this season and is reportedly a key target for Mikel Arteta as he looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Interest from Arsenal confirmed, but Pio Esposito happy with Inter Milan
In an interview with Radio CRC (quoted from The Mirror), Esposito’s agent Mario Giuffredi was clear about the player’s future.
Giuffredi said: “Despite the interest from Arsenal, our plans are clear. He is happy at Inter and will be the future of the Nerazzurri for the next 10 years. The boy is in love with Inter.”
The agent’s comments effectively put a damper on Arsenal’s hopes of a summer raid. Esposito, who has just extended his contract at San Siro until June 2030, is seen as an “untouchable” talent by Inter executives.
Pio Esposito attracts attention from Arsenal and Manchester United
Despite the camp’s resolute stance, Arsenal are not the only Premier League club monitoring the situation.
Manchester United have also reportedly made initial contact regarding the forward as part of their search for a long-term number nine, as reported by the Daily Briefing.
Arteta is said to have been impressed with Esposito since his impressive second-half cameo in the Champions League win over the Gunners earlier this year.
However, Inter president Beppe Marotta publicly ruled out selling the valuable asset. he said:
“Inter don’t want to sell him and we’re not a club whose main business is trading players. He’s a player who grew up in our youth organization and we protect him like a treasure. We’ll probably talk about moving him again in the future, but that will be in the very distant future.”
