A number of Chelsea players are reportedly “fed up” and some are in talks with their agents about potentially leaving Stamford Bridge, according to Simon Phillips.

Although no specific names are mentioned in the report, it is understandable that a significant number of Chelsea’s players are not completely happy with their current situation.

The Blues lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, 8-2 on aggregate, and were eliminated from the competition in the last 16.

Liam Rosenior recently replaced Enzo Maresca as manager and has had a shaky start, but overall he looks a bit off-kilter for such a big job so early in a managerial career.

Chelsea players are worried

Phillips quotes sources in the article saying:Many players are confused and fed up, ready to take time out to avoid injury ahead of the World Cup, and some have already asked their agents to make a move. ”

For Chelsea, this seems far from ideal. Chelsea need to turn things around between now and the end of the season, and there is still plenty of room to play.

Rosenior’s side can qualify for next season’s Champions League if they perform well in the Premier League, while a place in the FA Cup semi-finals looks relatively easy as they face Port Vale in the next round in April.

Who could leave Chelsea?

At the end of the day, CFC will not only allow key players on long-term contracts to leave, but will probably find a way out for one or two.

One big name who appears to be facing uncertainty is Enzo Fernandes, with another report from Simon Phillips stating that he could very well be set to leave Chelsea this summer.

Big names such as Manchester City and Real Madrid have been mentioned as potential suitors, but it is thought the west London giants will demand a huge sum for the Argentina international.
