The 26-year-old has had an impressive 16 goals and one assist for Hansi Flick’s side this season, despite not necessarily being a regular starter.
According to TEAMtalk, Barcelona are considering making offers to both Manchester United and Atletico Madrid for Torres this summer.
The report adds that Torres could be the perfect fit for the Red Devils as they were looking for a versatile attacking player with this profile.
Will Manchester United bring Ferran Torres back to the Premier League?
Torres previously won the Premier League title with United’s rivals Manchester City, and also won two La Liga titles with Camp Nou.
Depending on what price they have to pay for him, adding such an experienced winner to United’s squad would certainly be of great benefit.
It remains to be seen exactly what kind of deal will be discussed here, but TEAMtalk currently appears to believe that Torres’ offer is linked to Barcelona’s negotiations for Marcus Rashford.
Perhaps the Catalan giants are hoping to reduce the cost of making Rashford’s move to the club permanent by including the Spain international in the deal.

Will Barcelona end up signing Marcus Rashford?
As we reported yesterday, it is unclear whether Rashford will make a permanent move to Barcelona after enjoying a successful loan spell this season.
Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan are currently thought to be exploring Rashford’s situation, but Barca could probably afford to let Torres go or include him in his contract with MUFC.
United already have plenty of attacking options at their disposal, but they will no doubt need to consider options like Torres if he becomes available, especially since it seems unlikely that Rashford will return and become a central player again at Old Trafford.
