The Big 3 of the Miami Heat might have looked very different if one of these two stars signed instead of Chris Bosch.

Most NBA fans will never forget the summer of 2010 as LeBron James announced their next team in ESPN’s special program, The Decision.

After James made a dramatic revelation about joining Dwyane Wade in the Miami Heat, he quickly became the most hated player in the league.

However, fans have heard many stories of James joining the heat. Why not put that on the backburner and focus on the third member of Chris Bosh from The Heat Big 3?

Heat Legend D-Wade recently appeared on the Take My Take Podcast. During the episode, Wade discussed the era of James, Bosch and Heatle.

Speaking of which, Wade revealed that before Bosch signed with the franchise, Amal Stodemire and Carlos Boozer called him and James about potentially joining the fever.

“We started going in a bit when people were thinking about playing together, and we got a few calls. So we were getting calls from Amar’e. Yeah, Boozer was a free agent.”

He continued:

“Bron and I were both committed to playing together. It really mattered who that third party was.”

The James Ward duo itself is an unstoppable force, but the heat seems to have wanted to go all by adding a quality Third Star.

Despite interests like Stoudemire and Boozer, Wade confirmed that he and James tend to form a big three together with Bosh.

“And I always knew that if we were going to do this, Chris Bosch was the choice.

“And Chris Bosch was our rescuer,” Wade said.

With the completion of the Big 3, the Heat became the dominant run in the Eastern Conference, with four appearances in the NBA Finals in the Eastern Conference.

The Heat lost two NBA Finals, but won back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.
