Phoenix Mercury Guard Skyler Diggins Smith has just added a new and impressive trophy to her career resume, and she didn’t have to be in court for it. On Wednesday, Diggins-Smith announced Through her Instagram Stories She won an Emmy Award for work from the booth as a Phoenix Suns broadcaster.

Diggins-Smith had a very impressive 2022 season for Phoenix Mercury, despite missing out on the game towards the end for personal reasons. However, in 30 games, Diggins-Smith started, averaging 19.7 points, 5.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game.

The game misses Diggins Smith, but there’s plenty to be grateful for this holiday season as she prepares for the birth of her second child. That being said, don’t be surprised to see her return to the court as the new WNBA season begins!
