2026 Masters predictions
One of the big surprises the model calls for at the 2026 Masters is that Aberg, one of the favorites to win and a two-time Masters golfer, finished outside the top five this year. The 26-year-old already has five world wins in his career, including solo second and seventh place finishes in his first two starts at Augusta National.
However, he has now fallen to 17th in the Official World Golf Rankings after peaking at No. 4 last year due to a series of poor starts late last season and into early 2026. He’s also missed the cut in four of his eight career starts at major championships, and his wobbling throughout the afternoon and morning on Thursday and Friday will likely mean he’ll be playing in harder, faster conditions than other players. Another surprise is that Fleetwood, a long shot of +2200, will make a strong run towards the title. Fleetwood has a much higher chance of winning it all than the odds suggest, making him a target for those looking for a huge payday.
Fleetwood is a veteran of the PGA Tour and will be playing in his 10th Masters. He has secured top-25 finishes at Augusta National in five of the past eight years, including a T-3 finish in 2024. Fleetwood is off to a hot start in 2026, finishing T-10 or better in four of his five starts.
