AUGUSTA, Ga. — The 2026 Masters has officially begun, with three days of pristine golf remaining on the nation’s best courses. The action continues as follows. 91 players compete in star-studded Masters field Everyone will put on their green jackets, slide their arms around, and aim to complete 72 holes at Augusta National Golf Club. Track live updates of the 2026 Masters Leaderboard through Round 2. The action can change significantly as the day progresses.

Only luck can accomplish that feat, but stacked leaderboards offer opportunities to continually raise the bar. Round 2 provides an important opportunity to make important moves before the cut is made and Moving Day begins. The grounds are packed with regulars, no doubt eager to see how the likes of Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler get through the first 18 holes.

Oddsmakers had Scheffler as the player most likely to enter the winner’s circle at the start of the week, but McIlroy emerged as the favorite to win after finishing 5 under and sharing the 18-hole lead with Sam Burns. If Lowry can pull off the wire-to-wire, he could become the first back-to-back Masters champion since Tiger Woods (2001-2002), but it’s a difficult proposition, especially given how dry and fast the course was playing earlier in the week.

There’s so much to follow this week that it can feel overwhelming at times. Don’t worry. On Friday alone, you can watch all of the first-round games from McIlroy, Scheffler, Justin Rose, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Shane Lowry and more. This is quite a strong-hitting list and means the action will be intense throughout the morning and afternoon sessions.
