AUGUSTA, GA — Rory McIlroy makes history at Augusta National Golf Clubpulled away from the rest of the field after 36 holes at the 2026 Masters. Still, he will begin his moving day paired with Sam Burns, the same man he tied after 18 holes.
Both players will tee off for Saturday’s third round at 2:50 p.m. ET as McIlroy seeks to become the fourth player to win back-to-back Masters titles, joining Tiger Woods (2001-2002), Nick Faldo (1989-90) and Jack Nicklaus (1965-66).
