Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is considering letting the English player leave as soon as possible this summer, according to a new report.

Leeds face off against Premier League rivals Man United

Leeds return to Premier League action on Monday night when they travel to Old Trafford.

Their journey across the Pennines carries a kind of weight that is familiar to a team whose relegation situation is yet to be fully figured out.

Leeds are just three points above the drop zone heading into this mouth-watering rivalry showdown, with concerns mounting over their Premier League standings.

They have failed to score in their last four league games and have only won once on the road all season.

Anton Stach and Joe Rodon are both sidelined with ankle injuries sustained in last weekend’s FA Cup win over West Ham (WhoScored), while Dan James is also sidelined with an adductor problem.

There are doubts about Xhaka Bihor as well as Noah Okafor, leaving Farke with limited midfield and defensive options.

Leeds are desperately trying to prevent the 26-year-old from leaving for Tottenham or Aston Villa.

Los Blancos are preparing for a big battle this summer.

Victory in the FA Cup on penalties was a significant moment for the club as they reached the semi-finals at Wembley for the first time since 1987, but the relegation battle requires immediate action.

Michael Carrick’s Man United arrived in good shape to qualify for the Champions League with seven games remaining.

Harry Maguire was suspended after receiving a red card in the game against Bournemouth before the break, but Lisandro Martinez returned to training during the team’s Dublin camp.

The team drew 1-1 in a come-from-behind defeat at Elland Road in January, but this time around Leeds are without several key players, they have not won away games all season, and the goal streak is far too long, making it a much tougher task.

Amid all this pressure, we have news from Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke about Falke’s summer plans.

Jack Harrison has ‘no future’ at Leeds, Falke aims to sell quickly

Jack Harrison’s time as a Leeds player is clearly coming to an end and the club are preparing to move him without delay as soon as the deadline opens.

The 29-year-old winger made a few appearances for Leeds earlier in the season before spending the second half of the season on loan at Fiorentina.

The Italian club have a £6m buy-out option in his contract, but there are no indications they will activate it.

Harrison, who was in the spotlight for Fiorentina, lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace in the Conference League on Thursday, but his contribution in 15 appearances in all competitions was reasonable but not convincing enough.

The forward’s relationship with Leeds has been complicated for some time now.

When the club were relegated to the Championship, he forced a transfer and was loaned to Everton for two years before returning after promotion.

Neither party has been able to pull off that reunion.

Football Insider’s report is clear on Falke’s position – Harrison has “no future” at Elland Road, but the manager wants to “move him on as soon as the summer window opens”.

Whether that means a permanent sale to Fiorentina for a renegotiated figure, or a new loan or a move elsewhere, the result is the same. Harrison will not be at Leeds next season.

Harrison is not the only fringe player Leeds are considering selling this summer.

Mateo Josef, currently on loan at Mallorca, is likely to make the move permanent, while reports suggest Raji Ramazani has also played his last game for Leeds.
