Benjamin Nygren has been in great form for Celtic this season and is a target for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 26-year-old Swedish forward is on the radar of several clubs and Tottenham believe he could be a “strategic and cost-effective” option to strengthen their attacking line-up.
It’s no secret that they need more quality and depth in their attacking line. The Sweden international has scored 19 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions this season. He will give the team creativity and purpose. He can play as either a center forward or a wide forward. He could be the ideal replacement for Son Heung-min. Tottenham have been without a dynamic attacker like the Korean since his departure.
The opportunity to join Tottenham would be an exciting one for the 26-year-old. But Celtic would need an “unstoppable” offer to sell him. SportsBoom reports that the Scottish club is preparing for a “record sale”.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to go broke for him.
Clubs such as Brighton and Bournemouth are also monitoring his situation. The 26-year-old is keen to take the next step in his career and a move to the Premier League would be ideal. Tottenham have the financial resources to complete a deal and would be an attractive transfer destination for the player.
He is at the peak of his career and the time is right for him to take on a new challenge. He will be playing alongside the Tottenham players and working with a top-class manager like Roberto. De Zerbi.
