Yann Diomande has been linked with a move from RB Leipzig at the end of the season.

Clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international, and he revealed that his connections with top clubs are motivating him to work harder. He also added that he is focused on the job at hand and is fully committed to the German club.

Diomande enjoys playing football in the Bundesliga and is a key player for RB Leipzig. The player has contributed 20 goals this season and could be a great addition to either Chelsea or Liverpool.

Diomande told AfricanFoot: “I’m here and I’m keeping fit first and foremost and working hard every day. When I hear rumors about big clubs like PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool and other clubs that are interested in me, it motivates me even more. I keep smiling, stay cheerful and keep moving forward.”

“My job is on the pitch and I am fully committed to my current club. As for everything else, the team takes care of everything, so I’m not stressed. I’m playing for Leipzig and I’m enjoying it.”

It’s no secret that both Premier League clubs need more quality on the wing. Liverpool have not been able to fully replace Luis Diaz, but the 19-year-old African could be a great addition. He will add explosive speed and unpredictability in the final third.

At Chelsea, he could be an upgrade over the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens. Chelsea need someone who can help push the team forward and create chances in the final third. The Ivorian has the physical and technical attributes to succeed in English football and could be a quality long-term investment for both clubs.
