Chelsea are interested in signing Trabzonspor midfielder Cristo Inao Ulai after the season ends.

The 20-year-old Ivorian has performed well in Türkiye and Chelsea will be monitoring his situation closely. According to a report from SportsBoom, Chelsea are currently leading the race to sign him.

Ulai is also rumored to be linked with Manchester United.

The impressive figure of Christ Inao Urai

The player has contributed to six goals in the Turkish league this season and can play as either a defensive midfielder or a central midfielder. He will add defensive coverage, control and physicality in the middle of the park. He can also create chances for his teammates. The player is described as a “perfect midfielder”.

He could cost around €50 million at the end of the season, and Tottenham are also keeping an eye on him. The London club have scouted him extensively and they see him as a “high priority” target.

The asking price is quite high for the 20-year-old midfielder and it remains to be seen whether Premier League clubs are willing to pay him. They would probably want to sign him for a more reasonable amount.

Urai may make a big move

The opportunity to move to the Premier League would be a very exciting one for Ulai. Chelsea and Tottenham are big clubs and could provide him with the foundation to fight for trophies in the near future. The 20-year-old will be keen to prove himself at the highest level if a move goes through. While they may be able to justify the investment in the long run, it seems unlikely that any club would spend €50 million on the Ivorian at this point.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea and Tottenham will make more reasonable offers in the summer.
