Although the first major is set, the 2026 PGA Tour season continues with this week’s signature event. The 2026 RBC Heritage kicks off Thursday at 7:05 a.m. ET in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and the event has been dominated by strong winners lately. Entering RBC Heritage 2026, each of the past six editions of the event has been won by major championship winners including Justin Thomas (2025), Scottie Scheffler (2024), Matt Fitzpatrick (2023) and Jordan Spieth (2023). They are all in the 2026 RBC Heritage slot, with Scheffler the +390 favorite according to the latest PGA odds.

Next, Xander Schauffele and Matt Fitzpatrick have 2026 RBC Heritage odds of +1600. Russell Henry and Cameron Young, who finished tied for third at the Masters, are tied at +1800 on this week’s PGA odds board. Before finalizing your 2026 RBC Heritage nominations, be sure to check out the 2026 RBC Heritage predictions and projected leaderboards from SportsLine’s proven computer model.

RBC Heritage Predictions for 2026

One of the big surprises this model is calling for RBC Heritage 2026 is that Young (+1800), who has posted top-three finishes in each of the past three tournaments, has stumbled and is barely able to crack the top-10. Although Young has had quite a run, including winning the Players Championship, he doesn’t have the best course history at Hilton Head. He hasn’t been competitive in this event lately, finishing outside the top 50 in each of the last three years. Although Young is an excellent ball striker, the tight putting surface at Havertown Golf Links doesn’t take advantage of his strengths as he ranks 50th in putts per round and 85th in 3-putts avoided. See who else will be fading out here.

Another surprise: Justin Thomas has risen to the leaderboard despite long odds of +5000. Thomas stepped onto the course last year as the defending champion, winning a playoff against Andrew Novak. He finished fifth in this event last year and finished in the top 25 at RBC Heritage three years in a row. Although Thomas hasn’t played enough rounds this season to be on the statistical leaderboards, his SG: Around the Green metric of 0.605 still stands out. If he gets enough rounds, he’ll rank fourth on tour, and that will come in handy on this course’s contoured greens and tricky pin positions. Thomas, the reigning winner of the event who isn’t even in the top 10 in terms of shortest golf odds, is robbing the RBC Heritage bet. Find out who else to choose here.
