Celtic has already debated about enjoying a hard-earned summer break after a long season and bringing the permanently famous star to Parkhead.

While years of success at Hampden have led many to believe that Celtic’s final clash with the Scottish Cup of Aberdeen would only go in one way, the Dons seized the opportunity to assert their glory at the National Stadium under Jimmy Terrin.
The two trophies that win whiskers away from winning concrete successes in the Champions League, and from winning domestic highs, are a good season for the hoops of any stretch. Still, Brendan Rogers will wonder what it would have been if his side had a chance on Saturday afternoon.

Celtic Hold will discuss a permanent Jeffrey Schulp contract
According to Sky Sports, Celtic has discussed with Jeffrey Schulup about the permanent move now that his loan agreement has ended at Parkhead.
The £60,000 per week earner is set to be available on a free transfer and when his Crystal Palace contract expires, but it is not yet possible if his extended stay in Glasgow could be on the card.

The 32-year-old, labelled “fantastic” by Oliver Glasner, has become a useful rotation option alongside Greg Taylor at left back, but his current wage may prove to be a stumbling block, as his status as a lieutenant in the next term.
According to the report, if neither Schlupp agrees to stick with either Taylor, then Bhoys will enter the market and offer further competition in that area of the field.
There is clearly a desire from Celtic to permanently bind experienced campaigners. But his age would make him a stop gap sign rather than a long-term solution at left back.
