Shy Gilgauss Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder had unusually bad performances in Game 3. After the game he was accountable for the outcome.

The Minnesota Timberwolves won Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was an epic Timberwolves performance, but the Thunder was definitely the worst game of the season.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a low 14 points in the season. This was his fewest point in postseason games since 2020. It was a tough outcome for him and Thunder, but he made sure he was accountable.

This was a rare result for the Thunder team, which won 68 regular season games. Of course, the 2025 postseason was tough. Because I played a tough 7-game series against the Denver Nuggets. They are currently facing a more confident Timberwolves team.

Gilgauss Alexander recognized this during the game as the Timberwolves were dominant. Thunder came out flat, but the Timberwolves took advantage of it.

The first quarter ended with a scoreline of 34-14. It had already ended by that point, but he spoke about it.

“We brought it from energy and didn’t bring it from a focused perspective, in summary, we didn’t have it.

“They obviously had the urgency that they could go down 3-0. We eased into the game, but they didn’t.

“They are at home, their crowds are behind and they’re comfortable. They’re 15 years old, they’re open, they make shots. Now it’s all 22 years old.

As a favorite to win the championship by the end of the 2025 postseason, the Thunder is ready to win again. Game 4 will be a tough night for both teams, but the Thunder wants to solidify himself.

They already have the status of being a favorite. They need to prove they deserve it. Gilgeous-Alexander plays at his highest level. He wants to showcase why people consider him the greatest player of OKC’s history.

It will be a challenging task for Thunder and Timberwolves. This will be a fun game to watch. Anthony Edwards and his team are ready for obstacles as they want to repeat this Game 3 performance.

OKC head coach Mark Daygoon and Minnesota head coach Chris Finch will make it public again. They’ve traded blows in their tactics in this series, which could lead to more blockbuster games.
