        • He looks like Keane: Manchester United burst into race to sign Anderson for £50m

Manchester United are ready to ‘take a gamble’ on signing Teen Coop Miners this summer, Juventus are open to a sale and INEOS are set to begin rebuilding their midfield.

Manchester United aims to revamp midfield

Last summer, INEOS was on the front lines. Matheus Cunha, Brian Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko all joined and have been successful additions since then.

Twelve months on, the priority is midfield. With Casemiro on the verge of leaving the club as a free agent and Manuel Ugarte’s future in doubt, Old Trafford officials are reportedly eyeing two reinforcements in the center of the park.

If recent rumors are to be believed, Elliott Anderson remains Man United’s top target in the division. United could bring a transformative big-money midfielder to Nottingham Forest this summer if they can fend off interest from rivals Manchester City and others.

No outfielder in Europe’s top five leagues has won more possession back this season than Elliott Anderson.

Anderson isn’t the only big decision Manchester United have to make. Adam Wharton and Sandro Tonali are also two strong candidates, with the latter in particular threatening to grab the headlines.

Like Andersson, the Italian player won’t come cheap, with other clubs also showing interest. If Newcastle United remain as stubborn as they were against Alexander Isak last year, it could be a summer-long story for INEOS.

Tonali is certainly valued around Old Trafford, but INEOS may decide to turn to the Serie A star if they wish to exit business early this summer.

Manchester United ready to take co-op minor ‘bet’

According to Italy’s Tuttosport, relayed by Team Talk, Manchester United are ready to “bet” on Koop Miners this summer and sign the player Juventus are set to sell.

The Dutchman has struggled in Turin and has gradually fallen down the pecking order under a number of different managers. More recently, he has been seen as a bit-part player and someone Juventus could cash in on just two years after joining from Atalanta for more than £40m.

Manchester United have a new target to pursue in the summer transfer window.

Alas, Juventus’ trash could soon become Man United’s treasure. The Red Devils are in need of reinforcements in midfield and Copeminers is available for much less than Tonali, while having the versatility to play at centre-back, central midfield and as a number 10.

“Elegant, intelligent, creative, he has a personality. When you see what he does on the pitch, I’m sure there will be a next step. I care about him.” (Luciano Spalletti, on the Cope Minor)

Copeminers is at his best, earning impressive praise from journalist Buti Raba, who described him as “without a doubt one of the best midfielders in Europe”. But even in Spalletti’s own words, he is unlikely to keep his place at Juventus as Man United open the door for a move this summer.
