With one round left, Nelly Korda leads the Chevron Championship by five strokes.

Korda has been in great form this week at Chevron, hitting rounds of 65, 65 and 70 to lead Patti Tavatanakit by five strokes after three rounds.

But the work is not done yet. The 27-year-old American knows all too well how difficult it is to win a major championship.

Korda previously won the Chevron Championship in 2024. This was her second major win following her win at the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship.

Nelly Korda’s putting is frenetic on the chevrons and she is hitting the ball very well.

She will be confident in her chances of winning a third major championship title, but strangely, golf fans won’t see her play until she’s more than halfway through the front nine.

Surprisingly, the final round of the Chevron Championship on Sunday will see the players compete in threesomes.

However, that’s not the worst thing.

Even though the final group tees off at 12:08 p.m. ET, the broadcast won’t begin until 1:30 p.m. ET, according to Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols.

That means golf fans will miss the first hour and 22 minutes of Nelly Korda’s final round, and they’re not exactly happy about it.

“And the LPGA wonders why people don’t support their sport. SMH,“ One X user said:

Meanwhile, another person described the broadcaster’s decision as “disastrous.” “This is completely unacceptable in 2026. It’s a disaster considering how much we have to pay to watch sports. We fans should definitely not miss it!“

Fans continued to make comments like the following: “Why do they have threesomes during the day? There is no weather in the weather forecast. No one is more interested in showing LPGA golf than the LPGA.“ and, “Peacock should be easy to stream, but it’s ridiculous.“

In other comments, one fan said: “What’s going on at Chevron?“ and, “How shameful this is!“

Meanwhile, one golf fan came up with a very interesting solution: “All tournaments will need to modify their content delivery. Television networks are terrible at it. We have the ability to make it easily available. You don’t have to use a full-fledged masters app, but it is possible.“

“This is really bad for a 2026 major championship,“ One fan was furious, while another cheekily took a swipe at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans. “But let’s look at a team event that has very little star power. Women’s golf is real and impressive and should be given the opportunity to shine.“

It’s a real shame that we golf fans won’t be able to watch the entire final round of a major championship in 2026.

Nelly Korda was a big draw and the fact that she was in the final group and leading the tournament would definitely have attracted a lot of TV viewers.

It’s clear that the TV broadcasters don’t think so, and this is a very bad decision on their part.
