Liverpool can’t afford to lose Alisson Becker
Losing too many important players in one period can be detrimental to a club. This season was a disappointing one for the Reds, but they will be expected to bounce back strongly next season. A club of their stature should consistently aim for the league title.
In addition to new talent, they need a leader on their team. The Brazilian goalkeeper is an important pillar of Liverpool’s dressing room and they cannot afford to lose him just yet.

Virgil van Dijk talks about Alisson rumors
Club captain Virgil van Dijk has spoken out about transfer speculation surrounding the Brazilian goalkeeper.
Van Dijk on Alisson’s future (h/t James Pearce): “We’ve been through everything together, some positive and unfortunately some negative. So, we’re definitely going to miss out on a big blow, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to think ahead of time about what might or might not happen.
“He is very important to me as one of the leaders of the team and also on the pitch because in my opinion he is the best goalkeeper in the world.
“He’s trying to get back as soon as possible to help us in the last four games and that’s our main focus. Whatever happens after that, it’s not something you should ask me. Do I want him to stay? Of course, there’s no doubt about that.”
In recent weeks, there have been rumors of a move to Italy. It will be interesting to see if Alisson is willing to return to Italian football in the summer. He is a world-class goalkeeper and his departure will definitely weaken Liverpool.
