Chelsea want to sell Liam Delap
Chelsea are aiming to let him go this summer and will be looking to recoup the £30m they paid for him. According to a report from Football Insider, Everton are interested in signing the player and could offer him a route out.
They need to add more quality and depth to their attacking unit and Delap could be ideal. He proved his quality with Ipswich Town in the Premier League. A fresh start could be ideal for the talented young striker. Regular football at Everton could bring out the best in him. It may help him regain his form and confidence.
Chelsea are set to bring Emmanuel Emega to the club from Strasbourg in the summer, and he will compete with João Pedro for a starting spot.

Delap could develop at Everton
It would make sense for the 23-year-old striker to move on in search of regular appearances. Everton have shown improvement this season and are pushing for a place in Europe. It could be an attractive destination for Delap.
It will be interesting to see if Everton are willing to pay his asking price. Given his situation at Chelsea, they will likely want to sign him on a knockdown fee. They were well aware that Chelsea wanted to get rid of him and his performance was underwhelming. It seems unlikely that they would want to pay £30m for the striker.
