Darren Ferguson is open to the Leicester job

They have been linked with a move for former Manchester United player Darren Ferguson in recent weeks. Ferguson is the son of Sir Alex Ferguson and Leicester City recently made contact with the 54-year-old.

As reported by talkSPORT, he is open to taking the post-relegation Leicester City job, but it remains to be seen whether all parties can come to a deal quickly.

The manager was recently shown the door by Peterborough United after producing results. He would like another chance to demonstrate his managerial qualities and Leicester City could be an interesting option. Ferguson led Peterborough to EFL Trophy final victory over Birmingham last season.
