Liverpool are reportedly very interested in a potential move for RB Leipzig midfield prodigy Assan Ouedraogo this summer.

The 19-year-old looks to be a top talent, already an impressive presence in midfield with his 6ft 3in frame, and has the physical and technical qualities to be ideal for signing with a bigger club.

This is not the first time we have heard speculation about Ouedraogo’s future, with German newspaper Bild now strongly linking him with Liverpool.

They report that Ouédraogo could leave for around 40 million euros, which is also based on Liverpool’s long-standing interest in Leipzig team-mate Yann Diomande, according to Christian Falk and others.

Liverpool make changes to midfield with signing of Assan Ouedraogo?

LFC fans will not be entirely happy with how this season has played out and we imagine everyone involved at Anfield will be aware of the need to make some changes in the summer transfer window.

There will certainly be room for Ouedraogo in Arne Slott’s team, especially if rumors of Ryan Gravenbirch being a Real Madrid target turn into reality.

It is believed that Liverpool would not want to let go of a key player like Gravenwerch, but Fiharges insisted that Real Madrid would be prepared to pay 120 million euros for the Dutch international.

Perhaps this amount might be easier for the Merseyside giants to accept if they can replace him with a long-term successor like Ouedraogo.

This could be a huge opportunity for Liverpool as Leipzig are a selling club, while Diomande would be a dream signing for the Bundesliga side.
