Chelsea keen to sign Jonathan Rowe

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via SportWitness, the Blues are planning an assault on Bologna. Bologna’s concerns are growing over the growing interest from the Premier League giants, with them preparing a €38 million offer to lure him away from the Italian team.

Lowe joined Bologna from Marseille last summer and has made a huge impact at the Italian club. He appeared in 40 matches for his new club and scored 11 goals. Although he prefers to play on the left, the 23-year-old is equally effective on either flank.

His impressive performances and great potential have attracted a lot of interest. Chelsea have had scouts keeping a close eye on him for the last month and now they are preparing to swoop in Bologna to sign the English winger.

Should Lowe decide to move, he could consider joining a club that can offer Champions League football. The Blues are not in the best financial situation and with Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens and Pedro Neto already capable of playing on the left, they may need to let one of them go before proceeding with a move.
