According to a shocking report from Italian outlet Tuttosport, Curtis Jones has reportedly fallen out with Liverpool manager Arne Slott and is actively seeking his departure from Anfield.

The versatile midfielder is serious about making a fresh start away from the Premier League as tensions mount behind the scenes on Merseyside.

Inter focus on Curtis Jones after falling out with Arne Slott

Several of Europe’s biggest players, particularly Inter Milan, are on high alert due to reports of ongoing friction between Jones and Slott.

According to TuttoSport, the Italian giants are closely monitoring the midfielder’s situation as they look to rebuild their squad ahead of next season.

Inter Milan are reportedly planning a tactical change to a 3-4-2-1 formation, with Jones seen as a prime target due to his exceptional versatility.

The Nerazzurri believe the 25-year-old’s ability to play comfortably in multiple midfield roles, including playing as a dynamic midfielder behind a lone striker, would make him the ideal player.

Jones has already expressed his desire to join Inter, and is said to have given the club a ‘yes’ signal in January.

He continues to hint at a move through his social media accounts. Liverpool are yet to put a formal price tag on the Scouse midfielder, but Inter are poised to pounce as soon as the Reds assess the player’s cards.

Jones faces criticism from Carragher over comments on Salah’s social media post

The internal drama at Anfield has come to the fore in the public eye, with Jones recently coming under intense scrutiny from Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher.

Controversy erupted after Mohamed Salah posted an explosive statement on social media criticizing the team’s “crumbling” identity under Slott’s rule following the 4-2 defeat to Aston Villa.

Jones was one of the Liverpool players who liked the post. Jones took it a step further, commenting with a clap emoji. Many interpreted it as an endorsement of the Egyptian player taking a public swipe at his manager.

Carragher did not hold back when analyzing the midfielder’s social media activity on the overlap.

“I thought that was a little strange,” enraged Carragher.

“I thought, ‘Oh, this is why we don’t play heavy metal football, because we have guys on the team that look a little bit like Curtis Jones.’ He touches the ball six times before passing. I thought, ‘Hold up, stay away from that guy.'”

Slott is rapidly losing support, not only among fans but also within the dressing room.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool’s leaders change their stance on Slott and sack him at the end of the season.
