Liverpool lead in Gleeson Bremer race
According to a report from Hooligan Soccer, Liverpool are leading the race to sign him. The player would cost around $67m (about £50m) to sign, but it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are prepared to splash the cash for him.
They need to replace Ibrahima Konate, who will be a free agent in the summer. The France international has not signed a contract extension with the Premier League club, so he will need to be replaced appropriately.
They have played very poorly at the back this season and need to strengthen their defense if they want to fight for big trophies again. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to sign the Brazilian international.
The 29-year-old is at the peak of his career and could be the perfect time to move to the Premier League and test himself at a higher level. Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and would be an attractive opportunity for him.

Manchester United keen to sign Bremer
Manchester United are also monitoring his situation closely. They could use more depth in central defense. The 29-year-old could replace Harry Maguire in future seasons. He has the quality and experience to compete at a high level and could be an important player for Manchester United.
It will be interesting to see which of the two clubs is able to conclude a deal in the coming weeks.
