Matt Target would be a lucrative contract.

The 30-year-old has proven his quality in English football and could help tighten up Leeds United’s back line. He has the qualities to continue to help the team. It remains to be seen whether Leeds can persuade the defender to join the club.

The Newcastle defender wants to continue in the Premier League and the opportunity to play for Leeds United could be exciting for him, especially if Leeds United can give him a key role in the team.

Leeds could use more quality players at the back.

They are aiming to build a team that can compete regularly in the Premier League. They have done well to play safety this season, but the team needs to continue to improve if they are to survive in the long run. Adding more experience and quality to the defense would be a step in the right direction.

On the other hand, they need to consider adding a quality central defender. They have been very vulnerable at the back this season and Leeds United cannot afford to take any chances. They should aim to improve their defense before the new season starts.

The 30-year-old defender has also been linked with several Championship clubs, and it remains to be seen what decision he will make. He wants to play regularly at this stage of his career and Leeds will need to put forward a convincing offer to make a deal happen.
