The Spanish tactician, who will leave Bournemouth when his contract expires, has been linked with a move to Liverpool following the recent sacking of Arne Slott, with BBC Sport and others linking him with a move to Liverpool.
And according to a report from Fichajes, Iraola has already contacted the Reds about a potential signing, with one of his priorities being Real Madrid centre-back Dean Huyssen.
The Merseyside giants will need to strengthen at full-back this summer after Ibrahima Konate left on a free transfer, and Huisen is someone Iraola is familiar with.
Will Dean Huyssen reunite with Andoni Iraola at Liverpool?

Given Liverpool’s need to sign a defender and Iraola’s links with the player, this move could make a lot of sense for everyone involved.

It will be interesting to see where these Huisen connections go, but TEAMtalk also mentions Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez as another name on the Liverpool team’s radar in that area.
