Arsenal has been linked to the moves of AC Milan attacker Rafael Leo in recent weeks.

According to an Italian publication, Arsenal sports director Andrea Berta reached out to Portugal International 10 days ago regarding the movement. However, Arsenal sees him as a potential alternative to prioritized targets, and he is not the main goal for them.

It remains to be seen whether they have decided to make a move for the players in the coming weeks. He signed a contract with AC Milan until 2028 and has a release clause of 175 million euros (£147 million). It’s not easy for Arsenal to get his 25-year-old contract.

Arsenal can use Rafael Leo

The player has made a target contribution for 25 this season and could prove to be an excellent acquisition of Arsenal if he signs him. He can act as a winger on the left side and as a front in the center. He was able to compete with Gabriel Martinelli at the starting spot for next season.

The Brazilians are overwhelmed this season, and Arsenal needs an upgrade.

They hope to win the league title next season. They have been closer to winning league titles in recent years, but the lack of quality attackers has costly. It will be interesting to see if they can insert team gaps this summer and sign forward to a reliable center. They also need dynamic forwards like Leao, versatile enough to work in multiple offensive roles.

The player has demonstrated his abilities in Italy and the opportunity to move to England could be very exciting. Arsenal was one of the largest clubs in the world, and they were able to provide him with a platform to compete at a high level and fight for the trophy.

Portugal International was at the peak of his strength, and if a transfer to Arsenal was made, he could hit the ground running in the Premier League. However, Milan must be reasonable to their demands in order to make it happen to any move.
