The Greek international is currently enjoying good form with Club Brugge, which has led to recent interest from Arsenal, according to a number of sources.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein has claimed that Arsenal are considering a move for Tzoris, but an old video has been published by the X account @arsenalbarclays of Tzoris saying he wants him to come to Arsenal and would be honored to play for the North London giants…

After rooting for Arsenal before their defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, the 24-year-old added: “I hope Arsenal come for me. If Arsenal come, it would be an honor for any player to play for them.”

Does Arsenal need Christos Tzoris?

Tzoris is probably not the name most Arsenal fans expected to be associated with this summer, but he has impressed in the Belgian league and looks like he could at least be a good international player.

That appears to be the role Arsenal have in mind for him, with Ornstein’s report in The Athletic noting that signing Tzoris would not affect other potential signings such as Morgan Rodgers.

In the season just ended, Mikel Arteta rotated between Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli on the left, so if both players leave, it might make sense to sign a big name like Rodgers as first choice, and then sign a player like Tzoris as a rotation option.
