Daniel Farke’s Leeds United are keen on signing Scottish youth international Kai McGunnigle.
Behind his impressive performance, Hong Kong FC, Kai McGunnigle has found himself on the wishlist of many of Europe’s top clubs. Leeds United are one of the clubs interested in him.
According to a report from Football Insider, Leeds United have invited the 17-year-old forward on trial following his rapid rise in the league. Hong Kong Premier League. European clubs are pursuing Kai McGunnigle
Both clubs have also asked the youngster to undergo a trial to consider whether to offer him the chance of a move to Europe next season.
The teenage striker enjoyed an impressive campaign Hong Kong FC’s last match. He scored three goals and provided one assist in just eight starts in the Hong Kong Premier League.
He also holds the record as the youngest goalscorer in league history, scoring his first goal at just 16 years and one month old.

Leeds want to add McGunnigle to their youth team
McGunnigle is regarded as one of Scottish football’s brightest young talents. The West Yorkshire club want to see for themselves whether he can be part of their squad.
Little is known about him, but he is considered a clinical finisher with a strong tactical sense. He certainly has the potential to be a special player.
Leeds have already added some exciting young players to their youth squad and could make a move for the 17-year-old. But a lot will depend on how he does in the trials.
