According to a report from Football Insider, the Blues have agreed to a deal with the teenage attacking sensation. Due to his contract in With Brick Community Stadium running out this summer, the London club moved quickly to secure his services for a minimal fee. He will be part of the youth team next season.

Bettoni joined the Ligue 1 side in 2019. He rose through the ranks at some pace and was promoted to the first team last summer. He finished the 2025/26 season with four goals in just 11 starts. The attacking midfielder appeared in a total of 24 games in his first full season, logging nearly 1,000 minutes of playing time.
He made quite a name for himself after his impressive rise at Wigan. He made his league debut in November against AFC Wimbledon. The 18-year-old came off the bench and scored two great goals to help his team win.

Wigan couldn’t protect Bettoni
