Tottenham have some big decisions to make regarding player departures before the summer transfer window closes.

The club have already confirmed Yves Bissouma will leave north London after the Lilywhites opted not to extend his contract, and it is now thought that Coventry City are interested in the midfielder.

However, the Mali international may not be the only notable player headed for the exit.

Luka Vusković is one player who will continue to attract attention.

The highly-rated Croatian defender remains a target for Brighton, who have already had multiple offers rejected by Tottenham.

Despite Spurs agreeing a deal with Jan Paul van Hecke from the Seagulls, talks regarding Vusković remain completely separated, with some believing the teenager is now pushing for an exit from N17 (Alex Crook).

Brighton are understood to be looking to test Tottenham’s resolve, but the north London club remain highly valued at around £60m for the teenager.

North Londoners are showing plenty of ambition this summer.

Spurs captain Cristian Romero is another player whose future has been the subject of much speculation.

The World Cup winner remains one of Tottenham’s most important defenders, but his name regularly comes up in transfer talks involving some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Romero has been linked with a move away from Spurs for several months now, but any decision regarding his future will have a significant impact on Roberto De Zerbi’s plans.

That said, the signings of Van Hecke and Marcos Senesi will soften the blow left by Romero’s possible departure.

While most of the attention has been focused on the defender, another key member of the squad has become a top transfer target for Juventus.

Juventus ‘move ahead’ with Guglielmo Vicario transfer after Tottenham talks begin

Juventus are stepping up their pursuit of Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, according to Italian journalist Orazio Accommando.

He claims through X that new CEO Giovanni Carnevalli has started “direct” contact with players’ representatives and Tottenham themselves, and that the Serie A giants have begun negotiations.

Accomando added that Juve are “proceeding” with their pursuit of Vicario, as the Old Lady look to sign a new goalkeeper.

The development suggests Juventus are becoming increasingly serious about a move despite reliable links with Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez.

The Turin club is entering a new era under new leadership and is exploring options to strengthen several areas of the team, and goalkeeping is definitely one of them.

The timing is particularly interesting for Tottenham.

The club is in the midst of a major rebuild under De Zerbi and losing an experienced first-choice goalkeeper will cause major difficulties.

It remains to be seen whether Juve’s interest develops into a formal offer, but much will depend on their budget and Tottenham’s stance on a potential transfer fee.

If Vicario leaves, the question is who will replace him.

Other reports suggest that Tottenham are eyeing Man City’s James Trafford and that De Zerbi is a personal fan of the Englishman.
