Spurs keen on Sandro Tonali
Manager Roberto De Zerbi is planning to make big signings in the summer and has identified Tonali as a key target. The 26-year-old has been outstanding for Newcastle since joining the club and could make a decisive impact at Tottenham. Paul Scholes has previously claimed Tonali is “better than Declan Rice”.
The London club have already had an offer of around £75m rejected by Newcastle. They are now ready to come back with a new offer to seal the deal. This would break the existing transfer record, but it remains to be seen whether Newcastle can convince him of a new offer.
Meanwhile, they are already in positive talks with the player’s agent regarding a transfer and the Italian is said to be open to joining the club.

Tonali will change Spurs
He will add defense, coverage and control to the team. If Spurs want to do well next year, they need to be able to dominate games in the middle of the park. They finished 17th in the league table last season and are hoping to return to the Champions League soon.
To finish in the top four, we need quality players at our disposal. Tonali is firmly established in the Premier League and could make an immediate impact.
Even if Newcastle don’t want to sell the player, an offer of around £100m would be very difficult to turn down, especially if the player is keen to leave.
