Odyseas Brachodimos spent last season on loan at Spanish club Sevilla, but is hoping to make a permanent move to Sevilla this summer.

The player has not featured for Newcastle since joining in 2024 and has no desire to return to the Premier League club. He has no future at an English club and a permanent move to Sevilla would be ideal for him.

Odysseus Vlacodimus wants to go out.

The Greek international performed very well during his loan spell last year and would like to sign him as well. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can conclude a deal.

According to a report in Newcastle World, Newcastle are willing to sell the 32-year-old goalkeeper for a fee of £10 million. His contract with the Premier League club runs until 2028 and the club are under no pressure to sell him this summer. If Sevilla want to sign him, they will have to pay the asking price. It remains to be seen what decision the Spanish club will make.

Could Sevilla sign Vlahodimos?

Vlacodimos will not want to be priced out of a move this summer. He will be desperate to sort out his future quickly so he can focus on his football again. It would not make sense for Newcastle to keep him at the club against his wishes, especially if they cannot provide him with regular minutes.

Sevilla are working with limited resources and hope to sign international players on loan again. It remains to be seen whether the Spanish club will be prepared to pay £10m in the coming weeks. This would be quite surprising given their financial limitations.
