According to a report in El Transitiente, Arsenal are assessing his development and have not yet decided whether to make a formal approach to sign him. The 20-year-old midfielder has the potential to develop into a quality player with the right guidance and could be a solid long-term investment for Arsenal.
The opportunity to join the Premier League champions will be an exciting one for the 20-year-old midfielder. It would be a step up in his career. However, it requires regular opportunities for further growth. Sitting on the bench at Arsenal won’t do him any favors. If he joins an English club, he must seek guarantees regarding his development and game time.

Aranda may have a bright future.
Arsenal are aiming to build a team that can dominate English football. They need to build for the future and ideally they would invest in talented young players.
However, the player has a £15m release clause included in his contract. Arsenal certainly have the financial wherewithal to make this deal happen, but it remains to be seen whether they will respond to their interest and make a formal offer. Several other clubs across Europe are eyeing the 20-year-old, and Arsenal should aim to move quickly if they want to win the race for him.
The asking price seems reasonable for a player of his potential. If Aranda can adapt to English football in the future, the investment will be justified.
