10

Martin de lavka (Newcastle)

36 years, 1 month

Martin Dubravka is in and out of the Newcastle United team, standing mostly in Nick Pope, whenever Toon No. 1 is injured.

Certainly, he was not available to the Pope during Christmas, and Newcastle won six consecutive times between sticks on his 36th birthday.

Dubravka’s final appearance took on Man City in February 2025.

9

Shemaus Coleman (Everton)

36 years and 7 months

Sheamus Coleman was in Everton for 16 years, but his season was derailed by injuries.

This means the Irishman only got five times in the 2024/25 Premier League Toffee, and most recently made his final match at Goodison Park against Southampton on May 18th.

8

Willian (Fulham)

36 years, 9 months, 1 day

Willian He made his Premier League debut at Chelsea in October 2013 and has remained in the division ever since, with the exception of his short Corinthians and Olympiacos stints. The tricky winger is back Flam January 2025.

His lifespan has been spectacular, with 327 appearances on England’s top flights with three different clubs at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Fraser Four Star (Tottenham)

36 years, 9 months, 12 days

Fraser Forster was summoned to the first team of Tottenham Hotspur when Guglielmo Viario was hit by injuries.

He handed out a short match to former Southampton and Celtic shot stoppers in December, but the Spurs only managed to get it when they returned to St. Mary’s.

Currently 37, it is still unclear whether he will appear for the Spurs in a new season.

6

Adam Lalana (Southampton)

36 years, 9 months, 26 days

Adam Lalana’s Premier League career could follow Southampton’s relegation in 2025. This is not a big surprise considering that at age 37 you won’t be given another pyramid move.

Looking further, Lalana joined England under the age of 21 as a coach in September 2023. It probably shows future plans at the touchline.

The Northern Irish called time in 2025 with his second spell, ending the campaign as the fifth oldest player in the league.

He will likely need to go out to another top flight club to climb the rankings, for promotion clubs looking for an experienced head.

Jamie Birdie said goodbye to Leicester City this season, but despite Fox’s relegation, the 37-year-old has backed himself to still work in the Premier League.

At the end of the season, it was not clear where the striker was heading, but he certainly raised the flag for the division’s veterans.

3

James Milner (Brighton)

39 years and 4 months

James Milner He won an astounding 638 Premier League appearances – only Gareth Barry (653) collected more.

Young continues to acquire the look despite his advancement age, despite playing primarily at right back.

Lukasz Fabianski (West Ham)

40 years, 1 month

Lukasz Fabianski is now in his 40s and it seems strange to think he joined British football as an Arsenal young man in 2007.

He leaves West Ham United after seven years of service in East London, but not before he put the Premier League charts on top in 2024/25 as the oldest player in the competition.

It’s barely a badge of honor, but it speaks to the enduring qualities of Paul, who still can hack it at the top level.
