Gilberto Mora linked with Premier League move?
Mora is considered one of the best young players in midfield and has been linked with Liverpool. Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has been questioned over Liverpool’s interest in Mora.
The Argentina international insists the 17-year-old is an exceptional talent, which is why Liverpool have been mentioned as a potential transfer destination.
“Honestly, I didn’t see anything about it. When something like this happens, you’re always careful about what you say out of respect for the player and his club. But if they’re mentioning him as a potential Liverpool player, he’s definitely a great player. There’s a reason why they’re mentioning his name,” he told ClaroSport.
The 27-year-old midfielder recently scored a vital goal in the quarter-finals against Switzerland, helping his country reach the World Cup semi-finals. His comments about Mora are sure to fuel further speculation over the Mexican’s move to Liverpool.

Mora could be a future asset
The 17-year-old is an attacking midfielder and could be a quality long-term signing for the Premier League club. They will be able to show more technical ability and creativity in the final third. They have done a good job of developing young players so far and could help the Mexican player further develop and reach his potential.
It remains to be seen whether they will continue their interest and make a formal offer to sign a contract.
The opportunity to join Liverpool would be an exciting one for the young playmaker. Playing regular football in England will bring out the best in him and allow him to develop further.
