Tottenham hold talks with 29-year-old veteran as potential exchange plans take shape

Vanja Milinkovic-Savic could leave Napoli this summer and has been linked with a move to Tottenham.

According to a report in Italy’s SportWitness, the 29-year-old is unlikely to be Napoli’s next first-choice goalkeeper. He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and leaving the Italian club would be ideal for him.

The newspaper claims that a swap deal could be considered between Tottenham and Napoli for Milinkovic-Savic and Guglielmo Vicario. Vicario has also been linked with a move from the north London club. He wasn’t overwhelming for them at all and was prone to mistakes.

Antonin Kinski is expected to be Tottenham’s first-choice goalkeeper next season, and the Italian needs to move on. He will not want to sit on the bench at the London club next season. He’s at the peak of his career and needs to play every week. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to work out a mutually beneficial deal.

The opportunity to play in the Premier League could be an exciting one for the 29-year-old Napoli goalkeeper. He is at the peak of his career and this could be his last chance to join a top club. If this move goes through, he will be testing himself in English football.

Tottenham, on the other hand, need more depth in their goalkeeping department if Vicario leaves, so a swap deal could be ideal for them as well. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can reach an agreement in the coming weeks.
