Tottenham could surpass Arsenal in the race to sign Isaac Allen, according to reports.

According to Ihsan Khan of the Daily Mail’s X edition, Spurs are confident they are in pole position to sign the talented young midfielder from West Ham United, although there has been interest from the Gunners for some time.

“P.S.: Tottenham are close to signing West Ham’s Isaac Allen following their win over Arsenal. The England U15 midfield captain has been actively pursued by the Gunners for several weeks and the club are keen on the player, but Spurs are confident,” Khan wrote.
Even worse news for Arsenal. Arsenal appeared to be leading the race to sign the likes of Morgan Rodgers and Jeremy Monga this summer, but they ultimately lost out to Chelsea and Manchester City respectively.
I’m hoping the Spurs hijack Allen’s move and turn it into great business in the long run, but it looks like this has happened again.
Isaac Allen to move to Tottenham
Spurs have shown great ambition to strengthen their squad this summer with big names such as Sandro Tonali, Matheus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke.
These three signings should immediately strengthen Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, but it also makes sense to build for the future with a player like Allen.
