Latest information on Maxence Lacroix by Fabrizio Romano
Transfer official Fabrizio Romano gave an update on the negotiations between the two London clubs on social media platform X.
“Negotiations for Maxence Lacroix continue between Chelsea and Crystal Palace. #CFC is confident in agreeing a deal as Lacroix wishes to leave. The club is in direct contact to find and complete a solution.”
The 26-year-old defender enjoyed a glittering spell at Selhurst Park and gained international recognition with France following his performances in domestic and European competitions.
Chelsea’s new head coach, Xabi Alonso, sees Lacroix’s speed, physical edge and composure in possession as ideal for his high-line tactical set-up.
Lacroix is keen to move to Stamford Bridge and has already agreed personal terms. All that remains is for the two clubs to come to an agreement on a fee.
