Liverpool were also interested in Yann Diomande.
Earlier this summer, there were rumors that Liverpool wanted to sign the player and that they could offer him €100 million. However, this move did not work. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to seal a deal. To sign a player, a club record fee must be paid.
The 19-year-old is a promising talent and has been linked with clubs such as Manchester City, Real Madrid and PSG. French clubs appear to be the preferred destination for the talented African attacker.
