Florian Plettenberg: Aston Villa in contract talks with Nicholas Jackson
Plettenberg told X that Villa are in ongoing dialogue on multiple fronts to negotiate a viable transfer arrangement for the 25-year-old forward.
“Aston Villa are in direct negotiations with both Nicholas Jackson’s camp and Chelsea to find a permanent or loan solution. #CFC. No agreement has been reached yet.”
Villa is reportedly open to both an outright purchase or an initial loan agreement with an option or obligation to purchase.
Although concrete terms have not yet been finalized between the two Premier League teams, Villa’s persistent negotiations indicate that they are highly interested in securing Jackson before the transfer window closes.
Jackson could move if Chelsea sign Danny Welbeck
The possibility of Jackson leaving Stamford Bridge is inherently linked to Chelsea’s ongoing transfer window moves.
