2026 Solheim Cup: Day 1 Foursome Odds and Top Point Scorer Predictions

The Solheim Cup is here, and there’s no better to get ready for the Day 1 action at Bernardus Golf than scanning the array of prop bets and other offerings oddsmakers have assembled to help fans better understand who has the advantage to hoist the trophy Sunday afternoon and what players are projected to be the highest point getters in the Netherlands.

Speaking of that trophy, there’s some very specific (see: important) language to understand when betting the exact outcome: If you’re investing in the U.S. to win this year’s tournament, you’re looking at -140 odds. Or, bet $140 to win back $100.

Their European counterparts are the proverbial underdogs, with a price tag of +114 to claim victory and avenge a 2024 loss at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia.

The other “third” betting option is for the Americans to retain the trophy through a tie — this does not mean they get to physically lift it on a podium after Day 3 singles competition though. If you wanted the red, white and blue in this scenario, they’re listed at -102 odds. Or, bet $102 to win $100. Something about betting on the tie result seems a bit dirty but it’s our obligation to mention it is sitting there as a factor — and possible result with the U.S. not winning outright on foreign in 11 years.

Let’s get to something a bit more straight forward: Which player is the favorite to put up the most points on the board at Bernardus and who the sportsbooks believe has the advantage when the foursomes tee off Friday morning.

Credit to DraftKings for coming up with odds for all 24 players in this field but we’ll cull the list a bit and focus on the top ten. Given that the scoring winner can swing on a half-point Sunday, we’re going to recommend caution in this market as fun as it appears to be.

It also could result in a tie — and a split payout for bettors back stateside. With those fears fully expressed, we’ll give out two Americans and an up-and-coming Euro star just so we’re not leaving here bereft of any action.

We’ll go chalk with Nelly Korda to start. She’s cemented herself as No. 1 in women’s golf by winning the first two LPGA majors of 2026 (four titles, in total). Solheim feels like an appropriate bookend moment to her claiming the coveted U.S. Women’s Open in June.

Korda is one of nine returning Americans. Our other pick for the U.S.-Europe contest is her teammate Rose Zhang who was simply dominate two years ago and is carrying in perhaps the most fearless mindset to the first tee Friday. We like the value at +1550.

And across the aisle, we’ll take a flier on the AIG Women’s Open runner-up Esther Henseleit at +1475 who has experience having played in Virginia but we believe will gain some momentum playing “at home.”

Foursomes will be played in the morning on Day 1, while fourballs will follow later in the day.

Oddsmakers have the price for both foursomes and fourballs listed at the same odds less than 24 hours before the action tees off.

Given the Americans historical success with some of their Day 1 pairings it’s hard not to recommend the U.S. at +144 in both markets.

While the tie looks tempting, the more likely outcome is that the European side closes in over the weekend — specifically on Day 3 during singles competition.
