Two WWE talents who have seen limited television time on the main roster lately might soon team up for a tag team run. According to False Finish on X (formerly Twitter), WWE creative is exploring the possibility of pairing Ivy Nile and Jordynne Grace together.
Both Nile and Grace have been featured primarily on “WWE Main Event.” Recently, Nile secured a victory over the recently released PJ Vasa on August 3, while Grace experienced a loss to Kiana James on June 12. Grace also participated in a dark match against Blake Monroe on the May 15 episode of “WWE SmackDown,” with her last televised appearance occurring just before WWE WrestleMania 42, where she was defeated by Tiffany Stratton in a Women’s United States Championship number one contender’s match.
Nile’s last appearance on main roster TV was in March during a gauntlet match on “WWE Raw” that included Asuka, IYO SKY, Raquel Rodriguez, and Lyra Valkyria, with Bayley eventually winning. A recent Fightful Select report hinted at an upcoming “big change” for Nile. However, Fightful also noted that Nile’s contract was nearing its expiration, and as of now, there is no update from either Fightful or False Finish regarding her contract status.
As for Jordynne Grace, her last update came in June. She had been out for several weeks due to an ankle injury sustained in March prior to her ongoing absence. Fightful reported that Grace had been present backstage at several “SmackDown” tapings and traveled with WWE to Europe, but has been waiting patiently until creative has a suitable storyline for her.
