She emphasized her seriousness about the idea, stating, “I was ready to lose and shave my head. I already have a husband, so I’m not concerned about dating with a shaved head. I have a large forehead, and I’d probably look like a peanut, but my husband is fully supportive and thought it would be awesome.”
When asked about the possibility of having such a match with the WWE Women’s Championship—which she currently holds—Green was a bit reluctant. She explained that this kind of stipulation might have been more fitting when she was the United States Women’s Champion, as it could have elevated the title’s prestige.
She added, “I really wanted to make the US title meaningful. Although I’m not sure I succeeded in my two title reigns, a feud with Nikki that included shaving my head could have helped establish the US title as more than just a secondary belt beneath the Women’s World Title. I hoped winners of the Royal Rumble would consider challenging for the US title, not only the top women’s title. Why can’t the Intercontinental and United States titles be part of that bigger conversation?”
Regarding the current title she holds, Green feels it doesn’t need a hair-versus-hair stipulation to enhance its status because it will continue to be defended at major pay-per-views with numerous contenders challenging for it. As for her rivalry with Nikki Bella, their WrestleMania match never came to be; their only singles encounter happened last year on “WWE Raw,” where Bella took the victory.
